Founded in 2007, Suzhou Ballet is the only professional ballet company in Jiangsu Province, with performers from first-class theater companies at home and abroad. In 2018, Suba was independently registered and operated and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzhou New Era Cultural and Sports Exhibition Group. In 2021, in order to accelerate the comprehensive development of Suba, the Publicity Department of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee and Suzhou Industrial Park decided to jointly build Suzhou Ballet.
